It’s not what you think…I not talking about commercial pet food.  This is home cooking for your pet.  A video about the health benefits of bone broth.

Dr. Cathy Alinovi, DVM – friend and fellow pet food safety advocate – sent me a link to a video furthering our belief in the health benefits of bone broth.  I’ve written about bone broth in the past – providing the recipe for pet parents to make broth for their pets.

My pets have broth added to their food (home prepared food) daily.  It is easier to make than you think, freezes well, and now we have more evidence of the health benefits of bone broth.

I can’t embed the video here, so here’s the link:  http://www.tuesdayminute.net/bone-soup_11.html

Click Here for more bone broth information and the recipe.

Cook broth for your pet!  It is worth the effort!

Sick Pet Caused by a Pet Food?

If your pet has become sick or has died you believe is linked to a pet food, it is important to report the issue to FDA and your State Department of Agriculture.

Save all pet food – do not return it for a refund.

If your pet required veterinary care, ask your veterinarian to report to FDA.
