Word to the wise …… “Complete and Balanced” does NOT mean “safe, healthy and nutritious.”

WOW Susan!! Fantastic info for those who still don’t feed their pets human grade food. Thank you so much for this ammunition. I will carry this list with me on my quest to convert others to make their own pet food. From a huge fan who lost three beautiful souls to tainted dog food. Never again.

I lost my sweetheart of a dog to a canned dog food. My heart breaks every time I think of her. Her name was Princess, and she was one.

Why isn’t the J.M. Smucker’s recall for Pentobarbital Contamination in brands of their canned dog food. The FDA put out an alert about it in February 2018 and updated the alert on March 2, 2018 to say it was now a recall.

When my last Irish Setter, Shamrock, was around 10 years old I started giving him some of this brand of stuff.
Their artists make you feel like you’re giving your dog the best money can buy, “Natural” … “Taste of the Wild”.
As months went by he started loosing hair on his snout. I chalked it up to him just getting old.
Well, we switched brands and within a few weeks his missing fur started to grow back in.
