Thank you…for you!

This Thanksgiving, I want to thank YOU for your support for almost 20 years (October 2026 will mark the 20 year anniversary of TruthaboutPetFood). All of you (excluding FDA, AAFCO, and Big Pet Feed) mean so much to me – words cannot properly describe it.

The emails you have sent, the kind words you have shared. And what you don’t know is your timing is impeccable! It has never failed…on one of ‘those days’ when you feel like you just can’t keep beating your head against the same (regulatory) brick wall, is when I get an email from one of you – or a phone call from a trusted friend this industry has gifted me with. You pick me up, and give me the courage to continue.

In the first couple of years of TruthaboutPetFood – pet owners gave me the direction I needed. You encouraged me to attend my first pet food regulatory meetings (in 2009). At this meeting, as I challenged the FDA for the first time face to face, I secretly was quivering inside. I took a big deep breath, and thought of all of you. At that moment – all of you gave me the courage to stop shaking, and persist in questioning them. And you have continued to give me courage every day since.

What I want you to know – YOU have been such a huge part of my life everyday for so many years. And I am very thankful for you.
