NOW they are running a “sale” to get you back!!!BEWARE, THIS COMPANY FALSE ADVERTISES!!!! Their math of percentages does not add up! Their “referral program” is a LIE!!!! They CHOOSE whether or not they are going to honor the referral!! When they “promise” a follow up with their supervisors, they will so UNPROFESSIONALLY RESPOND TO SOMEONE ELSE ENTIRELY!!!! GOOD LUCK GETTING WHAT THEY ADVERTISE!!!!!!!!!!

Can you provide information regarding their math % on the food you are speaking of and the referral info?

So I have a 13.5 oz bag of the turkey. It doesn’t have any of the corresponding lot, batch or date numbers on it but should I still be on the safe side and return it?

No reason to assume that Open Farm is more ethical than any other dog food company.

If anyone feeds their cats the dry kibble, just a heads up the actual kibble is very tiny. Way smaller than any kibble. My cat inhaled a piece today when she was eating and almost died. I picked her up and hit her on the back a few times and the kibble flew out of her mouth.

Imagine how much plastic wrap contamination is in commercial pet food that is never identified. Imagine how much microplastic pieces as well. Concerned pet owners need to consider home prepared food which is the only way to have quality control.

So nothing to do with wet food in cartons? Pet Supp + had it on sale a month ago. Don’t usually buy there but have spent DAYS trying to figure out what to feed ‘my’ two rescues and two community cats who are ‘regulars.’

I feed primarily home cooked and home prepared raw alternated with Steve’s Real Food For Dogs (frozen or freeze dried) and Raised Right and Evermore. I’m always on the lookout for high quality, freeze dried commercial dog food to have on hand for variety and for unforeseen power outages, etc. Anyway, I rejected Open Farm freeze dried raw because they add copper supplement across the board to all their varieties even the ones that contain ruminant liver. There is no reason to dump in a copper supplement to their beef and lamb varieties as ruminant liver is very high in copper. There is a case to be made to add a bit of copper to the poultry recipes that contain poultry liver which is much lower in copper than beef or sheep liver. I did, however, buy some of their wet food in the lined, paper cartons for storage but none of my dogs like the taste and one gets diarrhea from this product. Wanted to like Open Farm as it is on Susan’s, human grade List but find it to be, overall, a very disappointing company.
