Wow, I see on Youtube, someone flagged this video as “spam”. I guess we know what kind of company THAT person works for, don’t we?

Thanks for clearing the idea of differences between chicken liver and by-products of dog foods. Explanations of something in this video format as like you were given above are really so pragmatic to understand.

That cracked me up. A pictures says 1000 words. Great analogy.

This video is over-simplified and misleading. Chicken by-product, by definition, is, “consists of the ground, rendered, clean parts of the carcass of slaughtered chicken, such as necks, feet, undeveloped eggs and intestines, exclusive of feathers, except in such amounts as might occur unavoidable in good processing practice.” By-product includes non-muscle sources of meat/protein from the animal that carnivores would naturally eat in the wild. Have you ever seen a cat only eat only the muscle off its prey? No. It eats the liver, intestines, kidneys, etc. Many PEOPLE in other parts of the world routinely eat by-product, but in the US, it is considered unpalatable. If you don’t want to feed your pet by-product just because you don’t know what parts you are getting, that’s fine. However, the video oversimplifies the issue and seems to insinuate that feces are considered a by-product.
