Your assistance is needed. Please respond to a couple of questions.
We know the jerky dog treats imported into the U.S. under various brand names have been linked to an average of one dog death per day in 2012 alone; they have been under FDA investigation for more than 7 years and linked to pet deaths and kidney failure for at least 7 years. We also know that the treats imported into the U.S. are treated with irradiation prior to entering the U.S.
Our questions…
Are pets in your country (please share which country you are responding from) suffering kidney disease related to jerky treats imported from China similar to what we are experiencing here?
Are the jerky treats imported from China, sold in your country, treated with irradiation?

Our dogs have all been fed a natural raw diet that is from the grocery or local supplier. Treats are made by me also. No store bought dog food or treats. Our dogs have had excellent health.

We feed our dogs and cats raw food since we don´t trust commercial foods.
Dogs and cats in Germany fed commercial foods suffer from various illnesses. Kidney disease in cats is wide spread, allergies and cancer in dogs and cats as well.
It´s hard to find out if ingredients are imported from China, most American foods like Hills are produced under licence in Germany.
Best regards
Victoria
