My 2015 pet food version of the Twas the Night Before Christmas poem.
Wishing everyone a Merry Holiday – and wish you all the BEST New Year!
I can’t say thank you enough for your support over the years – I look forward to another year of us fighting the battles of pet food together.

What can I say other than you’re great. Your imagination, your persistence at improving the health of dogs, taking to task dog food manufacturer problems, your incredible energy, and now this wonderful poem too. All the best in 2016 to you and the people who support you and believe as you do.

Susan, Love the jingle. How true it is. The big companies only do care about profits, not about what the animals are eating or if it’s healthful. Without you and others to fight for animals and to make the companies aware that pet owners aren’t willing to feed garbage to them, nothing will change. Do you know anything about a brand called Acana? The label reads like a more healthful dry food and I hope it’s true. I was feeding Blue Buffalo Wilderness to my 7 rescued cats but they were throwing up and had loose stools so I looked for a better dry food for them. Since they’ve been on Acana, they haven’t thrown up and the stools are much better. It’s expensive but if it is more healthful for them, they will be getting it. With the news that Blue was deceitful in listing what really is going into their dry food, and the law suit against them, I’m so glad I switched.

Susan, this is lovely!! Beautifully done and very clever! Thank you so much for all that you do! 🙂
PS: I submitted an article in a timely way about gifting pets for the holidays because my entire goal was to get in ATPF as the part about quality food when one adopts or gifts a pet. I added in vet expense, which lead right into quality food. Sadly, the paper didn’t publish it. It was timely, subtle and well done, but I don’t think they wanted to stick their necks out. So we keep going. 🙂
