DVM360.com recently reported on the most common clinical conditions in dogs and cats in 2009; as released by Veterinary Pet Insurance. It’s shocking to see how many of these conditions could be related to pet food.
The DVM360.com article states the most common ailment is dogs was an ear infection. VPI reported nearly 68,000 claims at an average cost of $100.00 per visit in 2009. Both of these health conditions could be directly connected to inferior pet food.
