The J.M. Smucker Company today initiated a limited, voluntary class I recall on specific lot codes of two of its Milo’s Kitchen ® dog treats because the products have the potential to contain elevated levels of beef thyroid hormone.

The J.M. Smucker Company today initiated a limited, voluntary class I recall on specific lot codes of two of its Milo’s Kitchen ® dog treats because the products have the  potential to contain elevated levels of beef thyroid hormone.

The following recall notice was provided by J.M. Smucker Company to pet food/treat retailers.

Please be advised The J.M. Smucker Company today initiated a limited, voluntary class I recall on specific lot codes of two of its Milo’s Kitchen ® dog treats because the products have the  potential to contain elevated levels of beef thyroid hormone.

The following items and lots are affected by this recall:

No other Milo’s Kitchen® products are impacted by this limited, voluntary recall and are safe to consume.

If this product has been further distributed beyond your facilities, please contact your accounts and advise them of the limited, voluntary class I recall.

This voluntary recall is being made with the full knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

No other items manufactured by The J.M. Smucker Company are impacted by this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please contact us with any additional questions or concerns.

    So many recalls including Rad Cat. What are these animals going to eat that’s safe?

    I don’t think I have ever bought anything from Milo’s and ever would. It’s like junk food for dogs.

    Even though Milo’s has the Made in the USA label on it. Most of the ingredients come from China.

    Elevated levels of beef thyroid hormone? That’s a new one, I think for a recall reason.

    Well my dogs love Milo,s but what does the recall mean,what does it it mean high beef thyroid
