Over the years, we have emailed back and forth numerous times on everything from possible pet food issues/recalls to sharing our mutual frustration with regulatory authorities. When Dr. Laurie told me of her plans to offer phone consultations to pet parents, I immediately thought her knowledge and expertise would be a great benefit to many.
I’m very blessed to have numerous friends to turn to when or if I have questions regarding my own pets, from other pet parents that have been through everything from A to Z with their pets, to veterinarians that I trust (and wish had their practice here in Florida!) to the brightest minds in science. But it hasn’t always been that way. I remember so many times that I wish I had someone to consult with – someone with training to help me understand or even how to ask the right questions with my own veterinarian.
