I feed Blue Buffalo, my pets are doing well on it…but still I was hoping to find your review of Blue Buffalo on-line. It says you reviewed them in Nov ’12, but I can’t find it.

The Vitamin K has me concerned. For all we know it could be Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex. And the lecithin could be GMO. If a company would not answer these questions, I wouldn’t buy their product.

Back in 2008, two RRB puppies were sick, gassing, though I was feeding whole food and rice on the side IMO BB made them sick for three months. I could never get them to talk to me, and every web site that had them on it, had trolls IMO burying my comments and those of others.

I would never used BB any more than I would use Ol Roy etc.

Looked up allergies from Nutro and Blu Buffalo only because my two dogs, Yorkie and Shitzuh began showing odd reactions. Yorkie became miserable, scratching her face on the carpet and crying three to four times a day. At first I thought having had baby teeth removed was causing this but vet checked and all fine. Closely examined her and she had slight scaling and crusting around her muzzle. Gave her Benadryl, cleansing pads and topical ointment and after four days of stopping the meds, back to normal. Shitzuh rubbed her body on the carpet, never cried out and I never associated this with a possible allergy. Her stool though became powerfully smelly.

After visit to the vet, I started them both on Eukanuba which had been their food source for years and all seems back to normal. Guess old advice of don’t fix if it ain’t broken is best!
