New Pledges

We have receive two more Pledges to Quality and Origin and we’ve received two more promises to Pledge. Full pet food transparency continues!

We have receive two more Pledges to Quality and Origin and we’ve received two more promises to Pledge.  Full pet food transparency continues!

Providing their Pledge to Quality and Origin is truly an unprecedented effort in transparency.  Think about this…
The FDA doesn’t care if pet foods are made from diseased animal meats, drug laden meats, or moldy vegetables.  No pet food company is required to tell petsumers what grade or quality of meats and vegetables are used.  No pet food company is required to tell petsumer the country of origin of ingredients (I’m confident many of them lie).

The pet food companies that have provided their Pledge not only have provided full disclosure to the quality and origin of their ingredients (all of their ingredients), but the President or Owner of the company signed their name (holding them accountable) to the accuracy of the information provided.  Thank you to each of these companies!

You are doing a great job. Have you checked out Northwest Naturals raw? That’s what I feed and just curious. Thank you.

This sounds bad but…I’ve sent to many requests to Pledge I’ve lost track of who I’ve sent to. If you are their customer please send them a request to Pledge. It’s important and often it’s better coming from a customer.

    Susan,

Have you ever contacted Earthborn Dog Food Company about a pledge?
We have been using it since the recall of Taste of the Wild. The fish one has really made a difference in our dogs coats. And our cat as well.

I’m sure I’ve contacted Earthborn – but since you are their customer, please ask them to Pledge.

Thanks for all your hard work! It just goes to show you how one person really can make a difference. You inspire me to spread the word every time I go to your website. Even if it’s just me stopping one person from buying those Chinese chicken dog treats, you are the inspiration. Keep up the good work.

I contacted Champion regarding their promise to sign the pledge in 2012. Here is their response.

    Hi Ananta,

Thank you for your email, I’m glad to hear that your German Shepherd does well on our foods!

I can assure you that this is still an ongoing process, and we are fully committed to it. We did have a fire last year in our facilities that has delayed the process, but my personal goal is to have this completed by the end of the year.

In the meantime, please let me know if you have any other questions and I would be happy to hear from you.

    Warm Regards,

Why does it take so long to sign the Pledge? I am a new subscriber as of today. I very much wanted champion pet foods to sign this.

Their acana pacifica ingredients have changed. They took the salmon out and included chickpeas, lentils and canola oil. I just returned my bag of food. Cats would not touch it.

PeopleFud was bought by Deserving Dog. Will a new review be done?
